Additionally, I realized I couldn’t just use terms and concepts from Modular Software Design without explanation, because they have lost their original meaning and, for many people, become mere clichés. This is because there aren’t really many good, modern resources on this subject. These were the reasons that convinced me to introduce the lengthy “Example application” and “Introduction to Modular Design” chapters.
